A Great Sleepover Memory
My favorite sleepover memory was my 10th birthday party. It was themed to be a fun in the sun beach slumber party. I started setting up right away when I woke up. My friends Renee, Avery, Delaney, and my cousin Cadence where all there. Even though we started setting up early, when my friends came we were still filling up water balloons, so they sat on the porch with us and helped me and my sister Natalie fill up water balloons. We still had fun doing that because, the balloons kept popping so we were all laughing, and the hose sprayed us a couple of times.
First of all, after we were done filling up water balloons, we went inside and changed into our swimming suites. Then, we brought a basket full of water balloons outside. All though, before doing water balloons, we brought out the water guns and another bucket full of water to refill them. It was fun because we went into the greenbelt behind my house and the sprinklers were on, so we got very wet, we also ran through the sprinklers a couple times. Then we used the water balloons in my backyard, and we saved five so we could play duck, duck, goose. Then we sat in a circle on the ground, and the person who was saying duck, duck, goose, instead of running around the circle, on goose, they smashed a water balloon on the person’s head. After that, we were filling up a bucket with water then dumping it on each other’s head. The water was FREEZING cold!
Next, we decided to get ready for bed. So we went upstairs and changed into our pajamas. Then, we set up our sleeping bags, pillows, and anything else used for sleeping, upstairs in my loft. In addition to that, as we were waiting for our barbecued dinner we played games on our electronics. We played the game called Geometry Dash Meltdown. It is where you have a block and you have to jump over spikes. Following that, we finally had an amazing dinner of hotdogs, hamburgers, lemonade, a virgin pina colada, veggies, and in Delaney’s case a bun. After that, we had ice cream in the shape of a castle which we had done the night before. Then, we went back upstairs and then we opened gifts, I got the most amazing gifts. From Renee I got a bracelet making kit. From Delaney, I got a cup that looks like a cupcake, jewelry, and a bright pink nail polish. Lastly, From Avery I got a white handbag, and pink, blue, and yellow tie dye so i can tie dye the handbag.
The last thing we did that night, was talk a lot. Then we watched the movie Journey 2 the Mysterious Island. During the movie we have popcorn, and mac & cheese puffs, which are like pirate's booty. I also gave my friends gift bags that had some candy, and a stuffed animal keychain. Then we watched some more TV and we stayed up until 12:00. I was just glad that we stayed up until 10:48 because that was when I was actually going to be 10 years old. Lastly, we went to sleep.
In conclusion, my 10th sleepover party was the best sleepover I have ever had. One thing that made it the best was that most of my BFFs were there. Also, my 9th birthday sleepover was way too crazy. We woke up my mom who was sleeping downstairs. We also woke up my sister who was sleeping upstairs with us, and oh was she mad. So I am glad that did not happen, again. I invited the right people this time, and we all a great time.

If someone was to ask me what is important to me in my life I would be sure to tell them about my favorite sport, gymnastics, DIY’S - do it yourself, and my amazing lifelong friends and family. For gymnastics I am expected to be strong, flexible, and hard working! DIY is an abbreviation for do it yourself and I can be extremely creative with these. Some DIY projects need some strange materials. Lastly, my amazing friends and family will do anything to help me if I need anything. Gymnastics, art, and my friends and family definitely mold me into who I am today, and it would be hard to keep my life moving without gym, art, and friends, and family.
One enjoyable activity in my life is gymnastics. To compete on a team in gymnastics we must be strong, respectful, and have trust toward our teammates and helpful coaches. We must do hard conditioning and that builds our strength. The uneven bars uses a great deal of strength to push on the wooden bar and swing without falling off. A routine floor uses many arm and leg muscles because gymnasts need to hold straight handstands for a certain amount of time, and we need to stay strong for our whole routine. On balance beam I need to hold handstands and stay strong because I don't want to fall off the beam or I will have points deducted from my score. On vault we must have a strong run, a large jump to the springboard with force, and hit a straight body handstand. We also need to be elegant with every move we make on every event. Strength is extremely important for a gymnast. Every year we compete against other teams and travel around the state. The whole GK team must wear the same fancy leotards. We must have our hair up, because if it touches any surface we will have points deducted. At my last competition, I won a gold medal for my all around score. That is where the judges combine the scores from all of our events and give us a final score. The highest score we can receive is a 10.0 and I was scored a 9.125 on floor, an 8.4 on beam, a 9.13 on vault, and an 8.35 on bars. The gymnastics meet was a truly thrilling experience for my teammates and I.
Another fascinating item in my life is my artistic side. I love to be creative and watch YouTube for crafts that I can do at home. I love to draw. I am incredibly excited about colorful paints and coloring. It feels exciting when I take out my white paper and yellow pencil. My family says that I construct amazing, breathtaking masterpieces! I love drawing people that look realistic however they have fantasy powers. I am obsessed with washi tape! I have many different colors and patterns of tape. I enjoy using washi tape to decorate everything in my huge room because I love making it more colorful. I even designated a drawer in my dresser for art supplies! I might have more art related objects than I have clothes! I love art and will do anything art related.
The most important people in my life, are my lifelong friends and family! I love to spend time with my amazing friends, Jada, Avery, Chloe, Siena, Addie, Renee, Delaney and Adalyn. They are my Besties! My lifelong family friends are (My fantastic cousins) Cadence, Torren, and Kenley. My friends and family are always caring helpful. They are my amazing friends! My supportive family is exceedingly excellent with helping me with every step I take. I can always trust my helpful friends and family to be there for me whenever I need them.
All in all, the most important items in my life are being a flexible gymnast, my inside artist, and my amazing, beautiful, kind hearted friends and family. They are definitely the best parts of my life. I don't know how my life would proceed without these amazing people, sports, and creativity! My family, gymnastics, and art definitely form my personality, and who I am.

Cobalt
Hi! I’m Cobalt! Co for short. I am a metal on the periodic table of elements. I have 27 protons, 27 electrons, and 32 neutrons! I am an unstable atom because if I have two electrons in my first shell, eight in my second shell, and my third shell can hold up to 18 electrons, but it only needs to hold 17 so that concludes that I am unstable. People use my metal to make alloys for jet engines and gas turbines, blue glass, and Cobalt 60 is an important source of gamma rays and can be used to treat some types of cancer and can also be used as a medical tracer. Georg Brandt discovered me far under the surface of rock in 1735. My atomic number is 27, I am colored blue, I can be made into many things, glass, dust etc. I am a silver gray transition metal that is not found as an element in nature. Now that I've shared a little about myself I am going to exit the stage to a round of applause.
